Our partial hospitalization program (PHP) is comprehensive and highly structured. Clients participate in 30 weekly hours of group therapy and one individual therapy session per week. In these sessions, we use mixed evidence-based treatments, like cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, family therapy (when appropriate), relapse prevention, life skills, and trauma-informed care. One of the unique features of our approach is the wide range of adventure therapy activities you can opt into. For example, hiking, nature walks, zip lining, sweat lodges, and rafting. Many clients stay in PHP for about 30-45 days, but this can differ based on your individual needs.
IOP Outpatient Rehab
The intensive outpatient program (IOP) at Xplore Recovery requires fewer treatment hours per week than our PHP, but the same effective approach is used. Clients in IOP outpatient rehab at our center can expect to participate in therapy sessions a few days per week for a few hours per day. Many people step down to IOP after completing PHP to ease their transition back into everyday life. However, clients who require care less intensive than PHP can start their treatment journey with IOP.
Dual Diagnosis Treatment
In many cases, people with substance use disorders experience one or more additional mental health conditions or concerns. For example, mood disorders, like depression, anxiety disorders, or post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Xplore Recovery provides dual-diagnosis treatment for clients with co-occurring disorders. This integrated approach promotes positive outcomes by addressing addiction and mental health simultaneously.
